World Book Day

Dear Parents and Carers,
On Thursday 3rd March 2016 we will be celebrating World Book Day. This is an opportunity for our school to really celebrate the enjoyment of books!
We are happy to once again be welcoming children and their families to a ‘Big Book Breakfast’. The school will be open from 8.15am for children, their families and friends to share a good book before the school day, while enjoying a pastry and a drink.
We would also like to invite the children to dress up as a character from a favourite book (please no football kits). A book will be awarded to the boy and girl in each year group who have the most creative costume.
We would also like to encourage children to bring in their favourite books to share at points throughout the school day.
We hope that you will join us in celebrating the wonderful world of books.
