In Literacy we have gathered all of our knowledge to write the story of the Gingerbread man. We have started to write independently and have been encouraged to sound out difficult words, applying our phonics knowledge.
In Maths we have started place value. The children have been looking closely at teen numbers, identifying the tens and ones using numicon and deines. They have been encouraged to talk about how the number is made up of ten and ones.
We are looking forward to seeing you at parents evening next week.
