The children have thoroughly enjoyed making their own information books this week. They are almost finished and some of them will be displayed in the Y2 corridor next week for you to have a look at. Your child has been asked to reseach 'penguins' for an important piece of writing they will be doing next week. It would be especially helpful if they could make notes on: appearance, diet and habitat.
In our final 'Dinosaur' topic lesson we talked about how the dinosaurs became extinct. The children came up with many interesting and creative theories! We carried out an experiment to see the impact of asteroids on planet Earth!
Information about our new booking system for parents' evening went out on Tuesday (sorry for the delay). If you haven't yet managed to sign up for an appointment, then please do so as soon as possible. Parents' evenings are on Wednesday and Thursday next week and the following Wednesday (2nd December). Help is available in the school office if you are having problems. This is new for us all!
