Friday 27th April
Friday 27 Apr 2018
Thanks to all the parents who came to our SATs drop in session. The example materials are available on the school website so feel free to take a look.
In Literacy this week, we have been learning a story all about Charlie and his bag and have then tried to innovate our own versions. Ask your child if they can tell you their own version.
In Maths, we have streamed across the year group and have practised the art of telling the time. Please continue to do this at home with your child and even see if they can work out how long things last for. E.g. favourite shows, football matches, clubs etc.
All children in Year 2 have now started learning how to play the ukulele. See if they can remember our song - all about a dog that has fleas! (apologies to Y2S who have probably heard this song for some time now!!)
We also experienced what it might be like to play in a rock band today. It was great fun!
If you are interested in your child forming their own rock band and starting lessons in school, take a look at the letter your child should have brought home tonight. All bookings need to go directly through their website and are nothing to do with the school.
Check us out . . .
