The Year 2s have had a fab week!
At the start of the week, we discovered that a crime had been committed in the school woods! Crime scene police tape cordoned off the area and lots of clues were left behind.
We tried our best to piece together all the evidence. We found three bowls of porridge, a lock of golden hair, a photo of a family of bears and plenty more.
Here we are in action...
Towards the end of this week, we had a visit from some very special people.
We are lucky in year 2 to have parents who are fire fighters and they arranged for a fire engine to visit school. The children all climbed aboard and used the water hoses - some of us even got blown away by a powerful fan. Finally, we set fire to our paper houses to re-enact the events of The Great Fire of London. Both classes had such a blast! A HUGE thank you to the fire fighters for giving up their time and resources.
Have a lovely weekend!
