Thank you for all your support in helping your child learn their lines for our show.
Next Friday ( 15th ) is our dress rehearsal so if your child does not have an outfit supplied by you, please could you try to have it in school by next Friday at the latest. If you could please bring any costumes in a plastic bag with your child's name on, that would be very much appreciated.
The following Monday and Tuesday (18th and 19th) are our live shows - we hope to see as many of you there as possible.
In maths this week, we have been subtracting 2 digit numbers from 2 digit numbers. We have drawn tens and ones and have then crossed out the pieces we are subtracting. This will later lead to the column subtraction that you and most of us teachers were taught at school - phew!!!
In literacy, we have finished our non-chronological reports. We'd like to say a huge thank you to all parents for your help in researching facts about your child's chosen animal. The results were outstanding!
We have also been really busy rehearsing our Christmas play. One final push before the holidays - please practise any lines, using a loud voice and adding expression and gestures where needed
