Evacuee day reminder

In Y4HO the children have been revisiting BLP. Our focus was on resourcefulness and the children created their own 3 minute sketch to demonstrate to the rest of the class their interpretations of being resourceful.
The children practiced different balances, on apparatus, during their P.E. lesson. To add to the excitement they had to avoid snipers, freeze when the searchlights came out and dodge the landmines!
Please don't forget Monday is 'Evacuee Day'.
Children need to be on the junior playground for 8.45 ready to line up with their class. There will be a photo opportunity for any parents/carers.
Make sure you bring your tissues. Who knows when or where you will see them again!! Children should be dressed as a 1940s child with a suitcase/bag if you have one, don't worry if not. Sandwiches or snacks need to be wrapped in brown paper and appropriate food for WW2 times ie. no KitKats as they didn't exist!
