The delights of Sheffield

This week we have been learning about vulgar fractions and decimal fractions: how to find an equivalent fraction for 1/2 and how to write 1/2 or 1/4 as a decimal.
On Tuesday, we visited Sheffield City Centre and the children really impressed us with their bravery. Their task was to approach members of the general public on Fargate and ask them some questions about Sheffield. They showed great resilience by overcoming their fears and we received some lovely comments about their polite and friendly manner from the public.
