Time for times

We've moved onto our Multiplication topic recently and the children have really embraced their learning. Mrs Heap and Mr Stones are astounded at how quickly everyone is picking up the new mathematical vocabulary and how the children are demonstrating their understanding of multiplication. 

This week, we introduced the Grid Method. Try asking your child to talk you through the example below.



To support at home, it would be really helpful if you could continue chanting tables with your child and calling out random times tables for them to answer.  This will be a huge boost to their confidence in the weekly division test and it will help them access maths much more effectively for the rest of their lives.
