Active or Passive, that is the question.

Another busy week in Y5 this week. 
In English we have looked at using an active or passive voice and included it in our writing. We have also used colons and semi-colons, remember guys, the colon or semi-colon replaces because or but. Keep those words in your heads but don't write them!!
Maths has continued with fractions, this week we have been adding and subtracting them. Next week we are moving on to multiplying and dividing them.
In PE the children have planned a football skills lesson and taught the rest of the class the skill. The children are loving this and it shows how much they have learned from Elliott, our football coach. We are still Bollywood dancing and again, the children are showing off their routines to each other.
Unfortunately due to the weather on Friday we didn't go on our expeditions. Hopefully on Tuesday, the sun will be shining and we can explore Bradway Island in the hope of finding a new creature!!
