Don't Stop Believin'

Firstly, can we say a massive thank you to the Year 5 parents for the all the effort that must have gone into yesterday's 'World Book Day' costumes. The children looked amazing! On that note, there are plenty of photos which we will endeavour to post over the next few days.
Today, the children have had a busy morning undertaking maths assessments and practising their interviewing skills. This afternoon, Y5C have had fun making split pin Punch and Judy puppets with the intention of creating puppet theatres - an old Victorian past time. Y5SS have spent the afternoon making music. Thank you to all the children who brought in musical instruments and who had practised in preparation. Next week, we'll be comparing and contrasting more examples of 80s rock music.
A couple of notices -
* Please note that Y5C's trip to the Victorian classroom will now be on Monday 23rd March.
* Year 5's Talent Show, which parents are invited to, will take place on Friday 27th March at 2.30pm.
Finally, if anyone has any spare small boxes or shoe boxes that could be donated to make Punch and Judy shows, we would really appreciate it.
