Headteacher Kidnapped!!!

So, the week started a little differently to normal. We had to solve the mystery of a missing headteacher!
After spotting some clues we eventually found Mr Stockley tied to a tree in the woods. Following some excellent investigation we ascertained that it was a German terrorist who had kidnapped Mr Stockley! He had done this because our headteacher found out about the German football team match fixing. (I think explaining all the penalty shoot out wins!)
As well as foiling an international terrorist plot, we also began writing our spy stories based on Stormbreaker. Mrs Roberts and Mr Lewis are very impressed with the starts that have been made and can't wait to get back on Monday morning so we can find out how they all finish!
In maths we have been looking at multiplication and have found this a little tricky due to our times tables knowledge. Fortunately, we now know some games we can play at school and at home to improve our times tables.
Another good week of behaviour and lining up too, keep it up Y5.
