Helping to do our bit
Wednesday 29 Apr 2015
Just a reminder that it is non-uniform day in school tomorrow to raise money for the victims of the earthquake in Nepal. If the children choose to wear their own clothes tomorrow, we are asking that they bring in a donation of £1.
Additionally, Renaissance Learning, the company who run the Accelerated Reader scheme in school, are attempting to break the record for the number of reading quizzes taken nationwide in one day and as a result will be donating money to the disaster fund. We are therefore encouraging children to do extra reading so they can do as many quizzes on possible on Friday so we can attempt to help them break the record!
You should also have received a letter this week, detailing plans for the Y5 residential in July. We stated that there would be a year group meeting regarding the trip on Friday 12th June, but didn't mention the time. It will be held in Miss Cheetham's classroom, straight after school at 3.15.
Many thanks for your continued support,
Y5 team
