It's all relative!

We have been taxing our brains this week in Maths and English.  Pushing ourselves to the limits!  In maths, we have been using the standard method of multiplication with a lot of the children even moving on to long multiplication. We ended the week using these skills to solve problems and prove our answers through reasoning.  In English, we have looked at how complex sentences can be created using subordinating conjunctions and how we can add more detail to our nouns, using relative clauses.  We have also baffled ourselves with the different verb tenses that we can use in our diary, more specifically, how we use the present perfect tense to contrast with the past tense.

Topic has seen us research famous explorers and test our ability to work as part of a team.  We have found some interesting facts and will be displaying them in the classroom soon.
