New Discovery at Bradway Island!
Friday 24 Mar 2017
This week has flown by in Y5! We have been so busy with our learning!
In English we have started to plan and write our non-chronological reports on our new species discovered on Bradway Island. They are looking fab so far.
In Maths we have continued with fractions. We are now finding fractions of different amounts using bar modelling. Next week we will be moving onto decimals.
In Science we have all started our sleep diaries, can't wait to see how you guys do at the reflex test next week. Will losing an hours sleep at the weekend affect you?
We have also been identifying the different parts of a plant. Take a look at our fantastic drawings below.
On a different note both Year 5 teachers visited Kingswood this week and the activities look fab! We can't wait to go, we are going to have a great time.
We are still waiting for some children to bring in either a medical form or pay their deposit, can you make sure that this is done A.S.A.P.
There is another parent's meeting on Thursday 6th April straight after school. Thank you.
Have a lovely weekend and enjoy the sun!!
The Year 5 Team.
