Well what a busy week in Y5 this week!
In literacy we have continued with our spy theme. We have written our own persuasive advert and had to then sell it to two dragons in the Dragon's Den!!
It was tough going as the dragons were brutal! However, we survived and all is looking fantastic!
Maths has been all about adding and subtracting using bar modelling! We had to draw a bar model and then show the inverse of the calculation to prove our answer. It has been really good to see how addition and subtraction are linked.
In topic we have completed our Mayan masks and they look fantastic. Take a look for yourself at some of them! Scary!!
This week the children have worked really hard during rehearsals for our Christmas performance. It is coming along great and we are looking forward to showing off our talents next week!! Hopefully you are ready for an exciting show!!
