It's been a busy week in Y5, getting settled into our new classrooms and routines. We are really pleased with how the children are settling in and getting used to Life in Year Five.
They have coped admirably with the start of the homework routine, with many returning homework before the deadline!
Just a reminder that Maths homework will be sent home on Tuesdays and is due back the following Monday. Spelling books will be sent home on Fridays and are due back the following Thursday. The children will also be tested on their spelling words on Thursdays (so if the homework is returned, please make sure you have a copy of the words at home to practice!)
Your child should have brought home a letter about our upcoming trip to the Space Centre in Leicester. If you haven't already, please remember to return permission and payment as soon as possible.
