What time is it?

This week we've been learning all about time; solving time problems and reading timetables - all of which, we hope, will serve us well in the future! If your child finds this area difficult, please use opportunities as they arise to ask your child to read the time from an analogue clock.
In literacy, we've been listening to and story mapping short stories. We've watched expert storytellers in action and have picked out features of body language, facial expressions and intonation, and how they impact on the story.
Finally, a huge congratulations to all those children in Year 5 who attended Ponds Forge Leisure Centre today as a result of Young Artist of the Year. Check out your photo on the main page!
