Teamwork
Monday 25 Sep 2017
Last week involved a lot of teamwork and the Year 6 team were really impressed with how everyone got along.
In science, children had to work together to match animals with a list of adaptations. For example, giraffes developed longer necks to reach the leavesup high in the trees. Everyone worked really well together and we had lots of teams who managed to match all the animals correctly. In maths, Miss Svoboda'sgroup have started completing investigations based on the skills they have been learning in the week and on Friday worked really well together to completea very complex challenge (see photo). We think it is really good preparation for secondary school and later life where you will be expected to work withpeople you don't know very well, so is something we will keep doing through the year. Keep up the hard work!
