REMINDER! The Deep trip is tomorrow. Be at school for 8.00AM.

This morning we uplevelled our non-chronological reports from the previous day by looking at using more engaging subheadings to entice the reader to read our pieces. We then looked at changing a simple fact into an interesting and specific/scientific sentence.

In maths, Mr Yates group used bar modelling to begin to solve fractions word problems and Miss Svoboda's class continued their work on angles.

This afternoon in science, we ended our unit on 'Light' by looking at filters and the affect they have on light which passes through them. We also discussed how light is 'absorbed' by objects so that it only reflects back the colour we see.
